October 25 – These Boots were made for walking

Hello, Mrs Hg137 here.

A trackable attached to a tiny, tiny penguin charm; I’m not quite sure where the ‘boot’ bit comes in, but an early log for the trackable says that it had become detached from whatever it set off with – and that’s when the penguin was attached to the cache and has been with it ever since. It set off from Leith Hill in May 2014 and has not moved very far since then, only 60 miles in all. Its mission is simply to ‘go walking’. So far it has not been out of Surrey and we will try to move it on to another county, most likely somewhere in Berkshire.
